Join our Architecture Lab!
Join the Revolution in Commercial Vehicle Tech at Coretura!
Coretura exists to make commercial vehicles as easy to develop software for as a smartphone. One platform: hardware, software and connectivity unit, delivered to multiple vehicle OEMs and running in real programs.
We're now building our Architecture Lab in Lindholmen, Gothenburg. We're looking for architects across several areas.
What does the Architecture Lab do?
The Architecture Lab owns the system as a whole: how the parts fit together, what the interfaces and contracts between them are, and how the platform holds up as one product across several customers and vehicle generations.
That means you set direction rather than detail out solutions. You define principles, allocation and guard rails, decide what belongs where, and make sure the safety, security and integration arguments hold across the whole system.
You stay close to the implementation, so your decisions are grounded in how the system actually behaves, and you bring the technical depth to build shared understanding with development teams, suppliers and vendors.
The areas we're hiring into
Vehicle. Fitting our compute products into each customer's E/E architecture, and turning different topologies into configurability instead of forks.
System safety. Safety concepts, allocation of safety requirements, and the argument that safety critical and non safety functions can share compute and networks.
Product security. Trust anchors and secure boot, isolation boundaries, cryptographic services, and threat analysis that changes the design.
Infotainment. The cockpit domain: compute, OS and hypervisor landscape, middleware and HMI, sharing hardware with safety relevant functions.
Communication. How signals and services move between compute nodes, and the determinism, bandwidth and latency budgets that make it hold.
Connectivity. The vehicle's link to the world: wireless connectivity, the gateway between external and internal networks, and the path to the cloud.
ADAS. The sensor to reaction chain: perception integration, workload mapping on accelerated compute, and real performance out of the silicon.
Power and network management. When compute wakes, boots, degrades and sleeps, and the energy budget that keeps a parked vehicle startable.
System architecture modelling. How architecture is expressed: the metamodel, the product structure, and the docs as code toolchain that keeps it traceable.
What you bring
You're an experienced software engineer who has grown into system architecture responsibility within your domain, and you're ready to take that scope across a whole platform. We're looking for T-shaped profiles: real depth in one of the areas above, and enough knowledge to understand how your decisions affect the other areas.
You enjoy working across team and supplier boundaries, and you know the regulatory frame the platform lives in well enough to design with it rather than around it. You have the judgement and credibility to make decisions and bring engineering teams, customers and suppliers along with them, and you like being the person who resolves the trade off.
