About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Buyer within Vision & Perception to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of Software Defined Vehicle platforms.

In this role, you will primarily focus on procurement of software and hardware (e.g sensors, radars, cameras) in the ADAS segmentYou will be responsible for driving sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring a robust and resilient supply chain.

You will collaborate closely with other buyers working with onboard components and software solutions, supporting each other to achieve common goals in a highly cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to building the partner ecosystem required for a Software Defined Vehicle platform

• Develop and implement sourcing and segment strategies for vision and perception

• Manage sourcing, licensing, and supplier relationships, forming long-term strategic partnerships

• Lead supplier selection processes, contract negotiations, and supplier lifecycle management

• Ensure commercial viability of your segments at all times

• Monitor supplier performance and manage daily operational follow-ups

• Drive supply security, quality, cost optimization, and supply chain resilience

• Lead risk, crisis, and supplier performance management together with subject matter experts

• Ensure compliance with IP, cybersecurity, and industry regulations before commitments

• Act as the main commercial contact for key suppliers and partners

• Contribute to process development, implementation, and continuous improvement within the team

• Stay updated on market trends, technologies, and business models within your segment

Who You Are

You are a proactive, collaborative, and strategic procurement professional with strong experience in software sourcing and supplier management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Procurement, Engineering, or equivalent

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in purchasing/procurement

• Strong experience sourcing within Vision & Perception-related domains

• Proven experience procuring software solutions (required)

• Experience with hardware sourcing (e.g., sensors, radar) is considered a strong merit

Experience & Skills

• Experience owning and developing sourcing strategies

• Solid background in Supplier Relationship Management and Supply Chain Management

• Experience driving and improving procurement processes

• Ability to manage operational supplier follow-ups and performance tracking

• Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills

• Understanding of market dynamics, technology trends, and business models

• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
