Interested in Connectivity Unit- V2X Test/Integration?
Lead Coretura’s Platform: unite product, engineering, and operations with clear strategy, empowered managers, and reliable, scalable delivery.
Come and Join the Revolution in Commercial Vehicle Tech at Coretura!
We’re redefining how automotive software is built. As a joint venture between Volvo Group and Daimler Truck, Coretura blends startup speed with industry strength—and we’re all-in on AI.
Who you are:
You are a hands-on test/integration engineer who enjoys making sure connected-vehicle systems work reliably in the real world. You understand how V2X communication functions end to end — from the radio and protocol stack up to the application messages — and you know how to design and run tests that expose issues before they reach the road. You're methodical, comfortable in Linux environments, and equally at home writing test automation or running field trials.
We believe you bring:
Hands-on experience testing and validating V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) systems, including one or more access technologies:
C-V2X (LTE-V2X / 5G NR-V2X, PC5 sidelink) and/or DSRC (IEEE 802.11p)
A good understanding of the V2X protocol stack and message standards, such as SAE J2735 (BSM) and/or ETSI messages (CAM, DENM, SPAT, MAP), and the supporting transport/network layers
Familiarity with V2X security concepts - certificates, and PKI/SCMS-based message signing and verification
Solid working knowledge of Linux systems for setting up, configuring, and debugging test environments
Experience designing test cases and test plans, and performing conformance, interoperability, and regression testing
Test automation skills, scripting in Python and/or C/C++ to build and maintain automated test suites
Strong diagnostic skills using tools such as Wireshark, protocol/packet analyzers, and log analysis
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, multicast) and GNSS/positioning concepts relevant to V2X accuracy and timing
Experience with field and drive testing, including capturing, replaying, and analyzing real-world V2X data
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and test-management/defect-tracking tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to root-cause analysis
Experience with V2X test equipment and simulators (e.g. Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, dSPACE, Spirent), HIL setups, or working within automotive, embedded, or SDV environments is a strong advantage
What you'll do
Support lab, HIL, and field/drive-test activities, and contribute to test infrastructure and CI
Analyze logs, captures, and field-test data to identify issues and drive them to root cause
Design and execute test cases for V2X communication, covering protocol, security, and application behavior
Build and maintain automated test suites for V2X stacks running on Linux-based platforms
