Product Cybersecurity Architect
Lead the future of automotive security. Join Coretura as a Product Cybersecurity Architect and shape platform-level security for next-gen Software-Defined Vehicles.
Join the Revolution in Commercial Vehicle Tech at Coretura!
We’re not just building the future of commercial vehicles—we’re redefining how automotive software is developed. As a joint venture between Volvo Group and Daimler Truck, we blend startup speed with industry strength. And we’ve gone all-in on AI.
As a Product Cybersecurity Architect, you’ll lead platform-level security development across our Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) stack. From ECUs and bootloaders to hypervisors and secure OTA, you’ll shape the security posture of our entire platform—ensuring compliance, resilience, and future-proof design.
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll architect and implement security controls across hardware, firmware, and OS layers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Design platform security architecture: Secure Boot, Root of Trust, HSM/TPM, cryptographic integrity
- Harden ECUs and BSPs: Secure diagnostics, OTA updates, secure debug interfaces, hardware RNG
- Integrate hypervisor-level protections: Isolation, secure partitioning, runtime attestation
- Conduct threat modeling and TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment)
- Ensure compliance with ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155/R156
- Lead secure software development practices across the lifecycle
- Collaborate with hardware, embedded software, and cybersecurity teams for end-to-end integration
- Support incident response and vulnerability management
- Align architecture with cybersecurity standards and best practices
What you bring
At Coretura, we value initiative, ownership, and a proactive mindset. You’re passionate about embedded security and thrive in regulated, high-impact environments.
You have:
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Deep expertise in embedded and applied cryptography (symmetric/asymmetric encryption, digital signatures, certificates, KMS)
- Strong understanding of cryptographic algorithms (AES, ECC, RSA, SHA), secure key provisioning, and usage within HSMs/TPMs
- Proven experience in Secure Boot, HSM/TPM integration, secure key storage, and physical tamper protection
- Hands-on experience with ECU/BSP-level engineering and secure OTA strategies
- Familiarity with hypervisor and OS-level security in embedded systems
- Strong skills in embedded development with C/C++ and secure coding practices
- Experience with threat modeling, TARA, and lifecycle security integration
- Working knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and secure communication stacks (Autosar SecOC, TLS, IPsec, MACsec)
It’s a plus if you also bring:
- Exposure to cloud integration and modern security monitoring tools
- Familiarity with ISO-26262 functional safety standards
- Experience with incident response and vulnerability management
Why Coretura?
At Coretura, you’ll be empowered to make a real impact. We value initiative, ownership, and a proactive mindset. You’ll have the freedom to drive projects forward, contribute ideas, and help shape the future of commercial vehicle technology. Our lean, innovative team is always learning and adapting—your contributions will truly matter.
