As an ECU Component Owner, you’ll take ownership of both hardware and ECU components, driving design, integration, and delivery. You’ll be the key link between internal teams and suppliers, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet functional safety and cybersecurity standards.
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll lead the development of ECU hardware and software components from concept to delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive design and development of ECU hardware and BSP-integrated software
- Oversee all project phases—planning, execution, and risk management—to ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate supplier relationships, lead technical discussions, and manage negotiations
- Provide strategic direction for ECU development, including functional safety (ISO 26262 Part 5) and cybersecurity (TARA)
- Support and participate in testing activities to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Clarify scope and timelines for complex system development challenges
- Apply deep knowledge of software and BSP to optimize hardware and ECU integration
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced development environments
What you bring
At Coretura, we value technical leadership, clarity in complex systems, and a proactive mindset.
You have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of ECU hardware technology and design principles
- Expertise in software architecture and BSP integration
- Solid project management and supplier management skills
- Hands-on testing experience and knowledge of cybersecurity for TARA
- Ability to resolve ambiguity and bring clarity to complex projects
It’s a plus if you also bring:
- Aerospace industry experience
- Advanced expertise in BSP and embedded software development
- Familiarity with functional safety and compliance standard
