As a Product Cybersecurity Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in securing next-generation commercial vehicle platforms. You’ll work across embedded systems, automotive hardware, and software layers to ensure robust protection against evolving threats. From cryptography and secure boot to system-level security, your expertise will help us deliver safe, reliable, and future-ready solutions.
What you’ll do
You’ll be at the forefront of implementing security measures across the product lifecycle. Your work will span multiple domains, ensuring compliance with industry standards and enabling secure innovation.
You will:
- Define and implement embedded security solutions for automotive systems
- Establish Secure Boot and Root of Trust mechanisms
- Integrate HSM/TPM and cryptographic accelerators for secure key storage
- Apply best practices for physical tamper detection and secure diagnostics
- Ensure OTA update security and manage secure debug interfaces (e.g., JTAG lock/authentication)
- Support system-level security controls for hypervisors and OS in embedded environments
- Collaborate across teams to embed security in ECU/BSP-level engineering workflows
What you bring
We’re looking for someone who thrives in hands-on engineering, enjoys collaboration, and is passionate about cybersecurity.
You have:
- At least 4 years of experience in embedded security or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ with secure coding best practices
- Practical experience with symmetric/asymmetric cryptography, digital signatures, hashing, and encryption
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and secure stacks like Autosar SecOC, TLS, IPsec, MACsec
- Experience with threat modeling, TARA, and integrating security throughout the product lifecycle
It’s a plus if you also bring:
- Exposure to cloud integration and modern security monitoring tools
- Familiarity with ISO-26262 functional safety standards
- Understanding of incident response and vulnerability management
- Experience with QNX, Linux, or Android-based platforms
