As our Business Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and shaping Coreturas finance function. Working closely with our CFO and Chief Accountant, you’ll balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to support both the core business and cross-functional projects.

You’ll be a trusted advisor to our business teams, helping them navigate financial decisions, manage risks, and unlock value. This is a unique opportunity to influence the direction of a growing company from an early stage.

As you will work to build the finance function within Coretura, you will need to adopt a strategic mindset while simultaneously working with the operational tasks alongside the CFO and the Chief Accountant. 

You will actively partner with and coach our business to drive financial performance. Your role will be essential in navigating the challenges of a startup, managing risks, and creating value. We are looking for someone with a strong analytical skill set who is passionate about working hands-on to help management make informed decisions.

Since you will join Coretura in an early phase, we see that this will be some of your responsibilities:

• Partner with business units to drive financial performance and support decision-making.

• Establish financial steering principles aligned with our business models.

• Develop and implement policies for forecasting, performance indicators, cost control, working capital, and investment planning.

• Analyse financial and operational performance, providing insights and recommendations to management.

• Participate in financial review meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

• Deliver ad-hoc analyses to support strategic and tactical initiatives.

• Prepare financial reports and performance analyses for leadership and the board, including early warnings and actionable insights.

We’re looking for someone with expert-level knowledge in Business Controlling & Analysis, supported by A Bsc/Msc and a solid background with several years of relevant experience. 

You have a proven ability to establish operational plans within your area of expertise, demonstrating your strategic thinking and planning skills. If you also have been working in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, it’s a plus.

Additionally, effective communication is key; you should be able to engage confidently with leadership and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving results.
